Hacktoberfest ‘24 is a month-long event held globally to promote and celebrate open source contributions every October. Prior to the commencement of this exciting event, the Mozilla Campus Club organized an orientation session “Hacktoberfest with Mozilla_CCEW” to shed light on participation in the event.

In this session participants were introduced to Hacktoberfest and were given a detailed description of the event. The attendees were told about the organizers and the global scale of participation. They were helped to understand the goal and impact of Hacktoberfest. The club guided them step-by-step on how to participate, start contributing and earn badges and goodies.

True to Mozilla Campus Club's aim to familiarize more people with open source, this session not only simplified the process of joining Hacktoberfest but also greatly piqued people's interest and ensured active participation!
